NEW YORK NowPublic, the citizen journalism Web site, has garnered $10.6 million in financing, AFP reported today.

The Vancouver-based company has seen a monthly growth-rate of 35 percent, and now has nearly 120,000 contributing “reporters” in more than 140 countries."

Simply because you are a paperless journal and give your news away as a free service to the community, The laws that were applied previous to the Internet excludes you from participation's in revenues generated by this law, unless you have a newspaper that adds a web site then the laws provide them with an unfair business advantage. We have adopted the same code of ethics as that of theSociety of Professional Journalists
