The law's were written previous to the arrival of the Internet, they need to be updated to include local Internet news sites, not to exclude local papers of record. Simply because you are a paperless journal and give your news away as a free service to the community, The laws that were applied previous to the Internet excludes you from participation's in revenues generated by this law, unless you have a newspaper that adds a web site then the laws provide them with an unfair business advantage. We have adopted the same code of ethics as that of theSociety of Professional Journalists
